He did not let us remember his birthday to have exchange gifts, but he did let us not forget his death and resurrection and have communion with Him to those who believe.

Four months after, our strawberry in pots is growing back very lush and plenty of fruits launching.

As I 've said, I reused the pack of charcoal air purifier that has been used indoors for a while for a new mulch of the pot plants.

This is precisely the result of the photos after 4 months. Next step was, I just added a foraged dried pine needles as mulch for their whole life and protect from the heatwave this late spring to summer. Let's see what will happen next episode?

The plastic bottles are not just rubbish reused for putting oil attraction for earwigs pest around my garden plants. Earwigs are present during summer, but when I started to DIY my bottle attraction, they began to decline, thank God!

The good thing is, I could reuse the bottle many times once the earwigs are full and dead balls before replacing the next batch of any cooking oil. You can even put a small amount of tuna, the Earwigs love them before they munch all your strawberry plants and other plants you have around the garden. They will also hide inside your beautiful flowers deterring you as the gardener to cut them for flower arrangement inside the home.

• From the writing test in the photos below that I have done on my inspirational whiteboard, it is writing very well. No smudges or drippings. All is well. Not much odour, which is great! The great about it is, there's an indicator how much left if you're apparently running low ink before you buy your next lot.

As soon as Spring season hits the air, the Venus Flytrap plant is unavailable from our local Bunnings warehouse store. I returned few times, and still, they have no stock anymore when you really needed them.

The cost of one Venus Flytrap in a pot literally the price of 100 seeds you can quickly order from different (small business) online shops besides eBay Australia. I decided to get it from eBay since we have an account and ratings from there anyway. Plus yeah, why not support small businesses from something you need?


I guess I got plenty of seeds to play around the garden this season with the hope of growing them quickly. My seed packet looks more than 100 seeds! They're amazingly tiny to count! Every warmer season, we get flies badly due to our mulch in the garden. They often return every year. I tried man-made flytraps, but I want to try God's creation flytrap plant this time :-)

I can't wait when it grows as those pesky flies are already buzzing right now as I type!

What's going on with our extended life home organic strawberry in pots?

This was originally a plant I transferred from the garden soil before it spreads all over. Not so much ripening as it is winter but reasonably healthy looking white fruits before it gets rotten due to the cold season. Give a bit of TLC weeding and recycled charcoal moisture absorber to pour into the pots.

I don't have a green house, so I use a net over before the birds chomp all the fruits. Let's see how it turns out in the coming months of the warmer season.

I think we had these plants for about 8 to 9 years from re-planting and dividing its roots and still giving fruits!

What is your secret success of growing large fruit lemons?


I will share you mine, and it is not something you have to spend a cent for fertilisers from Bunnings Warehouse in Australia. I posted this on my Instagram from my phone.

What's the secret? You can bucket your own pee or ask your husband's pee into a bucket. Accumulate for the night or day whatever shift they sleep then you can just add water to the pee and use it as a fertiliser. The Citruses plant loves it! Other gardeners have proven this simple formula, and their organic beets and other applicable veggies and fruits can be 10x larger than what you can buy from the market. Plus it tastes great! Google it if you haven't :-)

Upcycled paint chips for birthday card idea...from the bottom of my art :-) The idea is pretty much illustrated on the image itself. You can only create from in and out of your imagination and whatever you have at home lying around. I love drying plants when I can that I use to embellish on cards sometimes for a natural touch. If you cannot dry plants, you can use some potpourri plants that are flattened, and they still look beautiful. What are your paint chips ideas?
