Blogger Interface Changed July 2020

IT'S JULY 2020

It's July, but it feels like September while Blogger undergoes some changes as you log in to your dashboard and see changes on your interface. It looks like a WordPress block without the fancy blocks when posting blog content. WordPress changing and upgrading ahead often, but it takes years for Google product Blogger to shift this far.

As a blogger, we gotta adapt as it unfolds with their changes despite the year 2020 became not the norm anymore and beyond. Google is known to terminate any products that do not suit their revenue or marketing platform overtime, e.g. Google Plus, etc. It created disappointments to those who have devised ways to make money using their product like any platform online before they become big and change their system when they want it.

THIS IS WHAT JULY 2020 TIMELINE FOR BLOGGER BROUGHT US:

"In July, the new Blogger interface will become the default for all users. The legacy interface will still be optionally available. We recommend trying the new interface by clicking "Try the New Blogger" in the left-hand navigation. Please file any critical issues encountered..."

I'm basically writing and testing this new interface as I experience it. It's still simpler than WordPress Block to navigate around.
  • You can change the Blogger interface from their options, but the default is fine too.
  • No GIF or Meme auto insertion like WordPress, so don't even think about it. You can create that and insert if you need, effortlessly.
  • Overall, it's simple to use for content blogging. Nothing too fancy.
  • Tested mobile app Blogger before, but it's inconvenient for me as a user.
  • Google Album product (photos.google.com) is convenience and user-friendly when it comes to adding images when you need.
  • Google Adsense site placements was automated by Google recently if you put less or more than you have to. I often place fewer ads, but since the automation, I just let it be.
  • The New Blogger is cleaner, I guess. Just remember to click the + (plus) symbol to add your post content from your bottom right corner :-) instead of looking for the old system in words.
  • As you post, you can fetch your image from mobile phone gallery or your Google Album as usual.
  • It allows you to insert the standard emojis, symbols, punctuations, emoticons, modifier, other language characters are added into the interface 😻 , and you can draw a symbol too in all those categories.
  • No critical bug arises as I write my post, everything goes smooth at this stage on my end.
